GLASS WITH DIFFERENT COLOR MARBLE🦋
Remember I had mentioned that I had moved into a new apartment.Well, yesterday I had my friends over for a little housewarming party.
We had a really good time and soon after they left I marvelled at how easily I could bring people, diverse people types together.
It could be because I have always had it easy connecting with almost everyone and I mean actual connecting, not the proverbial general kindness and struggle to accomodate everyone just cos we ought to.
I always have something in common with most people I come across ,be it a shared interest, something we're both good at, something we both love and idolize or our conversations just click and we can talk for hours on end .
I mean I can hang with the introverted artists, the altruists , the social and charismatic, the open minded and freespirited.Wote wote.
It makes sense now how ever since I was young, I could fit in almost everywhere.
Ungenipata choir baada ya hapo dancing or hiking, only to find me seriously and furiously turning pages with the bookworms after class.Next ungeniona arts and crafts class ama nikilearn a foreign language.Queen of DIY would then later be spotted weaving mats or learning how to prepare new dishes😂.Yaani!I was anywhere and everywhere.
It would seem at the time like a bad thing; being all over the place , learning all trades mastering none and at times it felt as if I was a computer with a million and one tabs open all at once.
Honestly,at some point in life, I started forcing myself to settle for just one thing but I never could help myself.Nilijikuta tu🤦kila pahali tena.
Nowadays however, I don't consider it a problem.I just follow my heart, doing whatever it is I am drawn to.Ofcourse there's that one thing(my main thing), that I prioritize while allowing my creative wings to spread as far East or West of all territories. No bounds, cos like a glass with different color marble,I carry in me little bits and pieces of everyone😇
